Inspired by the Karl Blossfeldt’s photographs of flora, this 10-light chandelier is cut from one sheet of brass, then twisted and hammered by hand, without discarding any of the material. The result is a piece that seems to be in movement, as if it were growing like roots or a tree.
Each is unique and signed. A similar chandelier is featured in Through A Designer's Eye by Matthew Patrick Smyth, Monacelli Press pages 40,41,42, 195,202.203.
Custom sizes are possible to commission.
