These two decorative pieces were created by Cristian Mohaded, a designer from Buenos Aires. Each piece is unique. The base is made of concrete and the body of recyclable PVC that is hand-sculpted into shape. Cristián Mohaded was born in the Argentine countryside (1980). He has graduated from the National University of Córdoba. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Buenos Aires where he settled his own studio. Today Cristián Mohaded is a prolific product and interior designer and art director. Developing products for companies, such as Roche Bobois and Habitat. He exits at Gallery Serge Bensimon, Paris. Since 2013, his twist chair #2 is in the permanent design collection of the “Musée Les Arts Décoratifs” in Paris. In 2015 his work has been selected for Maison & Objet Americas 2015 with seven other emerging North and South American talents for their "Rising American Talent" exhibit. His work reflects a natural and positive aesthetic and a contemporary style while focusing on the substance and subtleties of materials. He seeks the coexistence between a handcraft and Industrial approach, experimenting with a number of materials, techniques and concepts. Sold together or separately.
